Antique 56 Inch Gold Fancy Link Chain

Presented here is an excellent acquisition opportunity for the discerning collector of antique jewelry. Composed of 18 karat gold, this English chain was made by hand around 1900, measuring an almost unthinkable 56 inches in length, meaning it can be doubled and still wear as a long chain. The stations on the chain are designed as ovals with somewhat industrial looking bars passing through the ovals, each motif separated by four circular links. The clasp of the chain, which can be worn wherever the wearer sees fit, is designed as an extremely detailed oversized (relative to the chain) hand extending out of an engraved sleeve, the wrist set with a lively opal and the index finger set with a diamond.
