Gold, White Gold, and Rose Gold Cartier Trinity Ring

An 18 karat yellow, white, and rose gold Cartier Trinity rolling ring composed of three interlocking gold bands, each 5.2mm in thickness. 

Cartier Trinity was created in 1924, allegedly at the behest of Jean Cocteau who was obsessed with the rings of Saturn and commissioned a tri-color rolling gold ring from his friend Louis Cartier. What resulted from that collaboration was a transcendentally elegant distillation of cosmic science, and this traditional Trinity rolling ring, with its three rows of lustrous gold, is an even more pared down expression of Cocteau's original fascination. The trinity ring has since come to mean many things to many people; religiously minded individuals think first of the Holy Trinity, some think of three important people in their lives, and yet others use the design to mark anniversaries.
